During the pandemic, managers became more visible than ever; they had to communicate more often and be more visible (even if it was virtually) and in many cases had to also be more vulnerable. One silver lining was that mental health awareness and well-being rose the surface; it was talked about more and addressed so hopefully this trend continues. Still, I agree, it's never been harder to be a manager.
